The challenge
The Store app is Nespresso's new global e-commerce platform, enabling customers to browse and buy coffee, accessories, and machines.
It launched as an MVP on a new codebase but lacked key features from the old app. To match the previous experience and meet the needs of 20 global markets, these journeys and features had to be redesigned and implemented quickly to support an aggressive rollout plan.
I led end-to-end product design for one of two iOS squads, covering Shop, Bag, and Checkout journeys. I shaped and delivered complex customer flows and high-impact features, using analytics, user research, prototyping, testing, and iteration to meet both user and business goals.
I contributed to the developing Design System, ensuring new components were scalable across the digital landscape. I created detailed documentation covering interactions and animations to support successful development and deployment.
Collaboration was essential. I participated in regular peer reviews, worked closely with the Android Product Designer to align features across platforms, and maintained clear documentation to minimise friction between teams.
I also performed thorough design QA on every developer task, checking UX logic, flagging UI defects, and testing builds to identify and report issues before going to production.
The app is now live in all key markets, with the remaining few to be deployed by the end of the year.
